It depends on the package you select. For weekend weddings, you’ll have access beginning Friday noon. Other reservations are based on the day and time frame you’ve selected.

Vendors are welcome to arrive 4 hours prior to start time of event.

No, we do not cut cakes, but most caterers will for an additional fee. You will need to provide your own service equipment.

 The Event Barn has a catering prep space with a refrigerator and freezer available for use.

You are welcome to move the ceremony to the climate controlled event barn and set up to your liking. 

50% is due at the time the contract is signed and the date is reserved. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date.

Decorations must be safe. You may not use tape, glue, or nails. Items inside the home and cottage should remain in their respective places. If you find that there are in the open space that you desired to be moved please discuss with the venue prior to moving. We do not allow live flame candles. While we enjoy celebrating with you, we ask that you take all of your decor with you at the end of the event which is why glitter, confetti, streamers, and items of that nature NOT be used at the venue.

No, we do not; however, should you secure our in-house dj package all of those needs will be satisfied.

All vendors working on site must be licensed and insured. A copy of their COI must be provided to the venue, listing Valley Mills Farm as an additional named insured. This includes, Photographer, Hair & Make-Up-Artist, Caterer, DJ, Day of Coordinator, Florist, etc.
